The house is situated in a green environment, but still relatively close to many highlights in Toscany.

"Just Awesome”

We stayed at Serena’s place for two weeks and had a wonderful time.
The house offers lots of space and is perfectly well maintained. The garden (park!) is just awesome with its wonderful vegetation and the stunning view into the valley. On top of all that, there is the fantastic and super-clean pool which offers a great opportunity to relax on sunny afternoons. We went in early October and didn’t have any mosquitoes!!!
The house is situated on a hill right outside the beautiful old town of San Miniato (4min drive) where you can find loads of good restaurants or places to enjoy a drink or two. Places like Firenze, Pisa, Luca, Siena and Volterra are all reachable within an hour’s drive (max).
Serena has been very helpful in finding restaurants or suggesting beaches for a trip to the nearby Mediterranean. She really is the best host you could wish for! There is a family living right next door who were very friendly and even sold us some local olive oil.

"Exceeded Expectation”

The house and grounds exceeded expectation. A large, traditional Tuscan house with loads of room and very well equipped.
The grounds were large and superb. The pool area was a bonus and the view was outstanding.
The location ideal as well, while the house is just in the middle of the countryside, it is less than 10 minutes drive to San Miniato and to shops and restaurants. David, UK – booking.com

"Just Perfect!”

Everything! The most helpful, welcoming hosts you could ever meet. An amazing, spacious house with great attention to beautiful details in every room. A huge garden with so many spaces to sit and enjoy the incredible view.
A barbecue next to a table and chairs to enjoy dining outdoors day or night.
A swimming pool with a view. A great location. I could go on.... Just perfect!

"Perfect Location"

We had a wonderful time at Casale il Fontanellino! The villa is beautiful and well maintained.
Everything was as described, with all the amenities we could have needed and more. The rooms are beautiful and traditional, but with a good modern shower and bath. The TV has an HDMI port - remember to bring a cable if you want to connect to another device. At the end of October it was a bit too cold for us to be tempted into the pool, but we sat with a drink and enjoyed the views.
Serena was so welcoming and helpful - always quick to respond, and provided some great local restaurant and walking recommendations :)
San Miniato was the perfect location for exploring Tuscany - much quieter than nearby more well known areas, with good road and rail links.
We drove 30 mins to get the tram into central Florence from Villa Costanza, which was very convenient.

"The Place to Go”

We especially loved the location, in the middle of the Tuscany countryside, it has beautiful views of the surrounding natural landscape.
It is very quiet and relaxed which was something we were looking for. The house is very cozy with high-quality standards and good taste in design.
If you are looking for a traditional countryside Tuscany experience, this is the place to go.
The hosts were kind and responsive and accommodate our late check-in request and we really appreciate that.
